OCTOBER’S CLASS PROJECTS!

Hi Everyone!  Wanted to share with you the projects we made in our October classes – how much fun were these!!!

We first made a cute chocolate nugget holder using the new Perfectly Preserved stamp set with coordinating dies.  How cute is this?  I didn’t decorate the chocolate nuggets with coordinating designer paper, but you could to give it a more polished look.

Next, we made a Thanksgiving card using our Natural Composition Specialty paper on Page 162 in the catalog and lightly sponged it with Soft Suede to darken it.  I love how you can alter the look of this designer series paper to get just the right look. ( Thanks to Rita W for this one!)

Our next card used a pretty awesome technique.  The minute I saw this technique from Kay K, I knew I had to do it!  You start by ripping some large sticky notes and then mask the top and bottom of your card, leaving the center uncovered.  Then you sponge it with different colors – we used Daffodil Delight in the middle, then came in from the left side with Gumball Green and the other side with Cajun Craze.  Then we stamped our leaf and acorn images with Chocolate Chip, removed our mask, and then ran it through the embossing folder.  It was quick and easy and such a look!!  Loved it….

Our next card was a VERY CUTE scarecrow card.  I don’t remember who initially did it, but it’s just one that makes you smile every time you see it.

Now, remember the first project – the nugget box??  Well there was a reason why I didn’t cover the chocolate nuggets, and altered this somewhat, but it still looks nice this way too – YUM!  LOL!

Hope you enjoyed looking at the projects we made in October!

Stampin’ Hugs!
